Using Hosted Forms from ActiveCampaign

Did you know you can use hosted forms from ActiveCampaign? That’s right, in addition to embedding or connecting a form via API, you can just provide a link to your hosted form, straight from the web app.

Let’s assume that you wanted to share a link with clients so they can subscribe to your newsletter. You can include the link in your signature, your social media profile and other online properties. Now that you know what to do with it, where do you get that link?

Accessing the Forms Dashboard in ActiveCampaign

Finding the hosted forms from ActiveCamapaign is easier than you think. In the left sidebar of the app, do the following:

  • Go to Website > Forms
  • Click on the dropdown menu next to the ‘Edit design’ button of the form you want to link to.
  • From the dropdown menu, select Preview (as shown in the image below)

Grab the URL from the Preview Window

Once you click on the Preview sub menu item, a pop up screen will show up as shown below:

The screen shot shown above is that of the pop-up screen containing the form. However, this is not just a pop up screen. The form is a full page and the URL (highlighted in red) is the link you need to use in order to share your form with anyone.

Why Would I Want to Use Hosted Forms from ActiveCamapign?

Hosted forms from ActiveCampaign are quite versatile, as you can just link to them from a multitude of sources (i.e. email signatures, social media profiles, etc.). In other words, if you want to grow your subscriber base fast, using hosted forms from ActiveCampaign is one way to accomplish that goal fast.
