The client, Miedema’s Board Consulting (a consulting company specializing in board policy manuals for non-profit organizations), needed to have a responsive WordPress website that would showcase her consulting business in a very professional, yet modern way.
The site also needed to be mobile-optimized, so the content could be viewed by potential clients on any device. Therefore, we developed the entire site to be lean and fast on both platforms (desktop & mobile). Shortly after development was completed, we moved the site to our managed WordPress hosting solution for enhanced performance and security.
In addition to developing a fast, responsive website in WordPress. We developed a Mailchimp template and setup a Mailchimp RSS-driven campaign. The purpose of that strategy was to develop a consistent content development routine, which would help the client establish a presence as an authority in the field.
We suggested to write at least one article a month on the client’s blog, which would be automatically aggregated to the RSS feed for distribution. As a direct result of this suggestion, the client catapulted to the top of the 1st page on Google search for the key phrase: “Board Consulting Toronto”.
