Have you ever wondered how to get a dark background in Dreamweaver CC for the code view section? Well, there used to be this solution called The Dark Code View Theme, which sort of replicated the look of Sublime Text. I’m not a hardcore coder, so I never had any issues using Dreamweaver as a main code editor. However, the white background of the “Code View” could really dry my eyes out after a couple of hours working on a project. I’m not sure how far back (version number) this solution goes, but in its current version (Dreamweaver CC 2014.1), the theme selection for the code view is actually built into the preferences menu. Check out this video for a quick tutorial on how to get a dark background in Dreamweaver CC 2104.
